SEO pricing: one package, one price

A$399 to set up one Google listing. A$349 a month after that, plus GST. Month to month. The rows below are the whole package.

Illustration of two pricing cards for setup and monthly care

Our SEO pricing is simple: one package.

WestReach publishes one SEO price because the work is one shape: local SEO and Google Business Profile care for a single tradie listing in Melbourne's west. There is no bronze tier and no "POA" for the same work. No lock-in contracts. The plan is month to month, and you can cancel anytime.

The two amounts

Setup, A$399 once, plus GST

This is the correction pass.

  • Primary category taken from the live dropdown, the most specific trade the list offers. Extra categories only if the label exists there and the business really is that thing.
  • Services written the way customers search, and only for jobs you do.
  • Service area set to the suburbs you travel. Home address hidden if you have no shop.
  • Hours, phone, website link, and a description that uses the registered name. No suburb welded onto the name.
  • Photos of your van and your jobs, not stock and not a client's face presented as a testimonial.
  • A consistency check of name, phone, and website on the main directories.
  • A plain note of anything on your current website that fights the listing. The note is not a new website.

Monthly care, A$349 a month, plus GST

  • Up to four posts. You approve each one. Unused posts do not roll over.
  • Replies to up to eight reviews, within two business days. You approve a reply to a negative review.
  • Small fixes: holiday hours, a wrong suggested edit, a drifted phone.
  • One numbers page: calls, website clicks, direction requests, from Google's data. A blank month is reported blank.
  • You remain the owner. We stay a manager.

The offer is for the first five clients. We do not print a fake countdown.

Illustration of a short list of included listing tasks

What is included

Local SEO for one business in Wyndham, Hobsons Bay, Brimbank, Maribyrnong, or Melton. One Google listing. The setup items and the monthly caps above. A free listing check before you pay, via the contact page. In-person meetings in Tarneit and Truganina. Phone or video everywhere else in the west.

Background on the work: local SEO, local SEO Melbourne, Google Business Profile, SEO for tradies.

What is not included

  • Not included.Google Ads, or any other paid placement. Ads do not change organic local rank, and they are not in the fee.
  • Not included.A new website, a redesign, or a blog. "Web design" plus a suburb is a search some owners type. It is not a line on this invoice.
  • Not included.Social media accounts.
  • Not included.Review removal, bought reviews, or a discount offered in exchange for a review.
  • Not included.A second listing, a second location, or a national campaign.
  • Not included.A guarantee of first place, a lead count, or a call volume. Google says a better local rank cannot be requested or paid for.
  • Not included.Licence numbers, years in business, or job counts we were not given. We will not invent them to fill a description.

How billing works

Setup is a one-off. The month starts when the listing work is underway and is billed monthly. No lock-in contracts. You can cancel anytime. There is no annual contract that discounts the A$349 into a larger commitment. Both figures are plus GST. We do not add a card surcharge in the copy.

If Google suspends a listing, helping with the reinstatement steps Google provides is part of looking after the profile. Success of that reinstatement is Google's decision. It is not an extra product and it is not a promise.

What changes SEO cost in general

Other businesses pay more when the brief is wider: many locations, many languages, a new site, ads, and content every week. They pay less only when the scope is smaller than what is listed here, or when someone has left the real work out of the quote. Comparing a retainer that includes a website and ads with A$349 for one listing is not a like-for-like sum. Ask what happens on a quiet month, who owns the login, and whether rank is promised. Those three questions sort most packages.

The next section quotes published ranges from three public pages. Those figures are not WestReach's price. We do not turn third-party search volumes into a forecast of your calls.

SEO costs in Australia

Published SEO cost Australia figures below are quotes from three public pages, fetched on 23 October 2026. They are not a national average, and they are not WestReach's price. WestReach's only price is A$399 setup and A$349 a month, plus GST, for local SEO and one Google listing.

orionmarketing.com.au/seo-pricing says its prices are estimates that may change. It lists local or city-based SEO from $1,800 a month plus GST for a low-competition industry and from $2,500 a month plus GST for a high-competition industry. National SEO on that page starts from $3,000 a month plus GST for low competition and $4,000 a month plus GST for high competition. Those plans include four pages.

websitesthatsell.com.au/seo/seo-costs says the cost of SEO in Australia ranges from $1,000 plus GST to $10,000 plus GST and above per month, and that a local campaign starts at $595 plus GST a month. The same page says Melbourne SEO services typically range from AUD $787 plus GST to over AUD $7,871 plus GST per month.

netstripes.com/seo-cost-australia says SEO costs in Australia typically range from $1,000 to $5,000+ per month. Its table lists local SEO at $1,000–$2,000 a month and small-business SEO at $1,500–$2,500 a month. Its own SEO packages on that page are Starter at $1,588 plus GST, Growth at $2,294 plus GST, and Enterprise at $3,294 plus GST.

How SEO is usually priced

Setup, once, plus GST

A$399

Each month, plus GST

A$349

Agencies usually charge a monthly retainer, a one-off project, or an hourly rate. Websites That Sell describes those models. WestReach is a one-off setup and a month-to-month retainer, not an hourly bill.

Is cheap SEO worth it?

A$349 is below the retainers quoted above because the work is one listing and local SEO. A low quote is a poor deal when posts, replies, or honest reviews are missing. This is not a cheaper national campaign.

How to compare packages

A useful quote names the listing, the post cap, the review-reply cap, the report, and the contract length. It says whether you keep the Google login. It says what is absent. It does not open with a guaranteed map position. If a quote is far below A$349, check whether the posts and the replies are actually in it. If it is far above, check whether you are buying ads and a website you did not ask for.

Our comparison is short because the package is short. Setup A$399. Month A$349. One listing. You own it. We manage it until you say stop.

Is A$349 a month worth it for you?

It is worth it if you get work from local calls, you will not keep the listing current yourself, and you want a person rather than a portal. It is not worth it if you need a new site first, you only want ads, or you have several branches that each need a profile. The free check is the low-risk way to see the gaps before you decide. Why one package

SEO packages elsewhere are a menu of tiers. Trades in the west were being offered that same menu. The work that matches a van is repetitive and narrow, so it can have one price. A custom quote for the same four posts and eight replies would only hide the number. About WestReach explains who does the work. WestReach Digital does. There is no junior tier at a lower rate.

What the first two months look like

Month zero is the check: a written list, no charge. Month one is setup. Categories, services, area, hours, photos, directory consistency, and the website note. You approve the first posts. Month two is the rhythm: posts, replies, fixes, and the first full numbers page covering a month of Google's data. If that month had no calls and no clicks, the page says so. We do not borrow a case study from another trade to fill it.

Other SEO services

A website cost, a content plan, or an ads account is a different job. This site's guides can explain the ideas. They must not invent a dollar figure for work WestReach has not priced. The only amounts a customer should memorize from WestReach are A$399 setup and A$349 a month, plus GST.

A quiet month is still the same price

Setup, once, plus GST

A$399

Each month, plus GST

A$349

A$349 does not shrink when Google's export shows no calls, and it does not grow when the phone runs hot. The work is the posts, the replies, the fixes, and the page. The page is how you see a quiet month without a story wrapped around it. If you want a price that moves with leads, that is a different product, and it is not this one. We will not invoice a success fee on top of A$349.

Will the price go up?

Setup, once, plus GST

A$399

Each month, plus GST

A$349

These two figures are the published price for the first five clients. A change would be written on this page before it applies to a new client. A current client on the published month-to-month plan is not moved to a new number without notice. We do not add "from" in front of either amount.

Questions

Are the prices plus GST?

Yes. A$399 and A$349 are both plus GST.

Is there a lock-in contract?

No lock-in contracts. A$399 setup and A$349 a month plus GST, for one listing, month to month. You can cancel anytime.

What do I get each month for A$349?

Up to four approved posts, replies to up to eight reviews within two business days, small listing fixes, and one numbers page, for one listing.

Do you charge to look at the listing?

No. The check is free. You pay A$399 only if you want the setup done.

Can I buy just the setup?

Setup without the month leaves the listing corrected and then unattended. The plan is built as both. If you only want the list of fixes, the free check already provides that.

Do you discount a second listing?

The published offer is one listing. A second location is a different conversation, not a silent half-price add-on.

Will you guarantee rankings for this price?

No. The price buys the work in the rows above. It does not buy a position.

How much should a small business spend on SEO?

Published ranges on this page differ. For one listing, WestReach's price is A$399 setup and A$349 a month plus GST. A national campaign is not that price.
