Who this policy is for
WestReach Digital provides local SEO and Google Business Profile management for tradies and small businesses in Melbourne's west. This policy covers the public website and the contact form on it. It is written for Australia. It is not a promise about a different product.
The published way to reach the business is hello@westreachdigital.com.au. Phone, ABN and street address stay off this page until they are supplied.
What the form collects
The form asks for your name, your trade, the suburb you work in, a phone number, and a message. Those fields are the enquiry. The site also stores the time the form arrived, so two messages are not mixed up.
The form does not ask you to create an account. It does not ask for a card number. It does not ask for a password. A hidden field is there to catch automated junk. A person leaving it blank is not recorded as a company name.
If you email hello@westreachdigital.com.au instead of using the form, that email is kept for the same reason: so the enquiry can be answered.
Why it is kept
The details are kept so WestReach can read the enquiry, reply, and do the work if you go ahead. A reply needs the trade and the suburb, because the service is local. The phone number is how a call is returned when you asked for one.
They are also kept as a record of what was asked and what was answered. That record is the business's own note of the conversation. It is not a marketing list.
If you become a customer, the same contact details are used to do the local SEO and listing work you agreed to. The price for that work is on the terms page: A$399 setup and A$349 a month, plus GST.
Who else sees it
WestReach does not sell enquiry details. They are not added to a bought list and they are not traded.
The website host stores the page and the saved enquiry so the site can run. The mailbox that receives hello@westreachdigital.com.au stores the message so it can be read. Those providers see the details only so the site and the mail can work. They are not asked to use the enquiry for their own advertising.
If a law requires a disclosure, or a payment dispute needs the record of what was agreed, the relevant part of the enquiry can be shown for that purpose. That is not a general share.
How long it is kept
If you want a specific enquiry removed sooner, email hello@westreachdigital.com.au and name it.
An enquiry is kept while it is needed to reply, and for a record of that reply. If you become a customer, the record of the job is kept while the work is underway and for as long as a tax or dispute record of that job is still needed.
When the details are no longer needed for those reasons, they are deleted or stripped so they no longer identify you. This page does not invent a number of years.
Access, correction, and complaints
You can ask what this site still holds about an enquiry you sent. Email hello@westreachdigital.com.au from the address you used, or name the phone number and the suburb so the right note can be found. If a detail is wrong, say what should change and it will be corrected.
If you are not satisfied with the answer, you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner. Their site is oaic.gov.au. Write to WestReach first so the enquiry can be checked.
Cookies and the public pages
Reading the public pages does not ask you to sign in. The form uses a short-lived security token so a forged post is rejected. That token is not a profile of you and it is not used to follow you around other websites.
This theme does not place an advertising pixel and it does not sell a cookie. If a connected analytics tool is added later, this page will say so before that tool is treated as part of the public site.
Questions
What does the contact form store?
The name, trade, suburb, phone and message you type, plus the time the form was sent. That is so the enquiry can be read and answered.
Do you sell enquiry details?
No. They are not sold and they are not given to a list broker.
How do I ask for a copy or a correction?
Email hello@westreachdigital.com.au and say which enquiry you mean. We will correct a mistake or tell you what we still hold.
Is an ABN or a street address published here?
Only if those details have been supplied for the site. Until then this page does not print them.
Who can I complain to?
Write to us first at hello@westreachdigital.com.au. You can also contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.
